Needing some advice

Ok, when I was pregnant with Allison, I had the perfect 1st trimester. No Morning sickness. But this time is different. This kid is a trouble maker. Nothing sounds good especially when im hungry. What are some things to eat when I feel sick. Please help.

Soooo excited for you guys!! I had morning (all day) sickness with all three. I found that if I ate something that had protein in it in the morning (eggs or meat or whatever you can stomach). Then I try to snack on little protein snacks all day like almonds or nuts or a piece of lunch meat. Forcing myself to eat sometimes because I know that if I don't I will feel REALLY awful! :) Good luck!

DIddo on the eggs. I lived off Breakfast burritos for my first trimester. And spoonfulls of peanut butter. Lots of protein! I feel for you. I was puking all the time.

Yep...protein first thing, and before you lift your head up, if you can (is this something Darren can help with?).

Bagels and cream cheese (even 1/2 of one); eggs; toast with peanut butter, etc...

Oh, one more thing.

If you're too nauseous to eat ANYTHING, a small tootsie roll or lemon drop can curb the yuckies, and then as soon as you can, get some protein in you. Don't let the mini-sugar-high trick you into thinking that you're not hungry anymore, though. You'll crash from the sugar and be worse off than before. You need the protein to balance the sugar.

I carried saltines EVERYWHERE. I had them in my purse, in my glove compartment...everywhere. As soon as I started feeling nauseous, I munched down some crackers. Also I was big on Sprite and 7-up during that time. It really helped settle my tummy. I never threw up, but was very nauseous with both boys and that is what I did to take care of it. Good luck! This will pass! :)

I have never been pregnant but I know aloe juice is great for upset stomachs. You can get it at any health food store and just add to water. It doesn't have much of a taste but that might help you.
